Country-pop and actor song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the cast in One Tree Hill as Alex during its last three seasons. The series featured her first albums as country music, propelling her 2012 debut album, eponymous into the Billboard 200's Top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was followed by Thirty One in 2015 and hit number ten. In the final decade of her career the show, she appeared on Dancing with the Stars along with TV movies. In 2021, she released The Self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer is a Rochester Hills Michigan native who loved country music from the time she was born. Though she did go into recording her debut professional performance, her first role was on the independent horror film Dead/Undead in 2002 when she was in high school. After guest roles for All My Children and CSI: NY, she landed the role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the second season 2007-2008. Kramer went to appear in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 2008-2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before being cast on the CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in the year 2009, where she continued to appear until the series' final season in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her sign a record contract with Elektra Records. In 2011 she released her modern music video for the country song I Won't Give Up. It was featured later on Jana Kramer's debut album that was that was released at the end of 2012. This song landed in the Top Country Albums of Billboard's chart in the Top Five. In order to appeal her large fan base, she continued her acting in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 & Country Crush 2016. The second album of Kramer's Thirty One was released by Warner Music Nashville on October 15th, 2015. I Got the Boy - a Top Five country single - as well as Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer, singing a duet on this album to achieve greater recognition. In September 2016, her time on the 23rd Season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months before ending with a 4th place final. The same year, she was also a part of an adult contemporary hit by releasing"Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
